Aspire UK Leicester is a local company that has been established since April 2000, providing high quality care and support at home for the people of Leicester and Leicestershire.

We recruit both people who are experienced and people who are completely new to the care sector. It is important to us and to our customers that we recruit people from all backgrounds, cultures, and ages.

We are looking for dedicated and caring people from across Leicester and Leicestershire who wish to work in social care, providing care and support services to adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities living in their own homes.

Day to Day Role

  • Personal care. Help with getting up and getting ready for the day
  • Washing, bathing and toileting
  • Practical support.

Specialist & Complex Care - Support Workers

Reliable and enthusiastic support staff to work within our Specialist & Complex Care Division; supporting our clients to live an independent life.  As a support worker you will need to assist our clients with all aspects of daily living and personal care requirements.

No previous care experience is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, we will provide the rest.

About you:

  • The right candidates will be open and friendly; with an enthusiastic and confident outlook along with excellent communication skills.
  • You will have good team work and interpersonal skills; as well as the ability to take a step back during quieter periods
  • If you have a passion to move in to care work but are without experience; then please get in touch. We will provide you with full, specialist training and therefore previous care experience is advantageous but not essential for this role.

Team Leader Roles
Key Purpose of Role

To ensure that the highest standard of care and support are delivered at all times & ensuring Customer’s needs are met through assessment, preparation of Care Plans & reviews whilst supporting & developing a team of Care /Support staff to deliver a person centred services which are flexible & reliable at all times


1. Delivering a High Standard Quality Care & Support To All Customers

– To develop Person Centred Support Plans, Needs Assessments, and carry out Risk Assessments as required. Update Assessments, Plans & other documents as and when required.

– Organise and Attend Customer Reviews

– To work alongside your Care Coordinators, Senior Management Team and care/support staff to ensure customers receive the highest quality of care.

– Ensure accurate and factual information is recorded and kept up to date on computerised systems & manually, and reported as per the organisations procedures

– To undertake on-call duties as and when required.

2. Managing Employees and Their Performance

– To supervise Care and Support Workers performance in the field.

– Ensure all field based staff receive the appropriate number of Supervisions per year.

– To ensure all new and existing field based staff are shadowed, mentored and supported out in the field.

3. Supporting The Company Office and Its Performance

– Assist with allocating unassigned calls &ensure all customers receive the care they need.

– Assist with care delivery when visits cannot be assigned and during on-call hours.

– Communicate effectively with Care Co-ordinator & Management team at all times.

– Assist the office in Implementing quality control procedures and processes to ensure the required level of compliance is achieved at all times

– To assist the management team with Customer Complaints; reporting of Safeguarding and assist to undertake first stage investigations

– To prepare Reports as required & ensure Health and Safety Legislation is adhered to at all times

– Be involved with and attend meetings as and when required.

– Attend various training courses to assist you in your role and development.

Essential / Desirable Skills / Qualifications

– Hands on Care experience

– Car Driver with access own Vehicle

– Good Planning and Organising Skills

– Good People Skills

– QCF Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care

– Supervision Experience within the Health and Social Care Sector

– Experience of undertaking Customer Needs Assessments, Writing Care Plans and conducting Risk Assessments

– Working knowledge of Domiciliary Care

Role: Team Leader based in the field

Reporting to: Registered Manager & Community Manager

DBS for Role: Enhanced DBS Check
